Counter-UAS can no longer rely on any single system. Effective protection now demands a layered defence that integrates detection, tracking, identification, decision-making, and defeat into one coherent architecture, enabled by multi-sensor fusion, networked operations, and physical protection measures. Above all, that architecture must be shaped by the operating environment and a clear assessment of the threat. In this session, technologist and practitioners exchange perspectives on the technical and Institutional factors that should guide the planning and deployment of C-UAS systems.
